Well guess what? It really happened to us!!! For a long time, we had heard about some 1996 Jeep XJ Cherokees that had been shipped overseas to be assembled, but were still packed in the original containers that Chrysler put them in almost 10 years ago. Well, they are still dis-assembled, but we now have them back in the good ‘ole USA, and are parting them out.
ONCE IN A LIFE-TIME OPPORTUNITY TO BUY BRAND NEW JEEP XJ OE PARTS FOR PENNIES ON THE DOLLAR We have hundreds of containers that are packed with everything required to build 288 1996 Right Hand Drive Jeep XJ Cherokees. From axles to air conditioners; steering wheels (with airbags) to body panels; seats to light lens; master cylinders to transfer cases; complete engines to upholstery, it’s all here! Half of these were 2.5L, 4 CYL models with AX5 manual 5 speed transmissions, NP 231 transfer cases, Dana 30 front axles (right hand drive) with 4:10 gears, and Dana 35 rear axles with 4:10 gears. The other 144 came with 4.0L, 6 CYL engines with AW4 automatic transmissions, NP242 transfer cases, , Dana 30 front axles (right hand drive) with 3:55gears, and Chrysler 8.25 rear axles with 3:55 gears. Most of these parts should fit all Jeep XJ Cherokees from 1996-2001. Being right hand drive vehicles will only affect some steering components, air conditioning compressors, front axle assemblies, and dash panels when considering for US left hand drive applications, everything else should be the same. We’ve even got some track arm and steering damper brackets that can be welded onto the correct locations for the front axles to make them compatible with US left hand drive.
